DRAFT — NOT YET IN EFFECT. This page is a starting point written to describe what StateHireReady actually does today. It has not been reviewed by an attorney and is not a substitute for professional legal advice. Do not treat this as StateHireReady's binding policy until it has been reviewed and formally published.
Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
StateHireReady is being built with the goal of conforming to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. This is an ongoing effort — this page is a starting point, not a claim of full conformance.
What's already in place
- Semantic HTML and labeled form fields throughout account, dashboard, and coaching tool forms.
- Keyboard-operable navigation, tabs, and buttons.
- Text alternatives on meaningful images.
- Layouts checked at common phone, tablet, and desktop widths.
Known gaps
[DRAFT NOTE: this needs a real formal accessibility audit — automated tooling (e.g. axe) plus manual screen-reader testing (VoiceOver, NVDA) and keyboard-only testing — before this section can honestly list what is and isn't conformant. Do not publish a conformance claim without one.]
